So, I have gone over the cost of the reunion and came up with an amount for food and lodging. If everyone could please bring $100 per family that should cover everything. I estimated the food costs and the utility bills and came up with that figure. I will purchase the food ahead of time and whatever money is left we can use for little grocery runs if needed and then we can distribute what is left back to everyone. Thanks for figuring this out, Dora. I don't mean to be a pain, because this is so inexpensive anyway...but, did we decide to do it by family instead of by individual? I'm just thinking that April and Noah won't be eating as much as bigger families... What does everyone else think? Are we expecting 8 families altogether?
We can definitely divide it by individual. This is a family reunion so everything is up for discussion. The total cost I came up with for food and utilities is $800 so we can divide it however as long and it is all covered. I guess I have spent too much time looking at things and needed a fresh perspective.
So... here is what I came up with. I have divided it per person/per family. There were so many variables, some people won't be there on the 1st day, some are bringing meals, and some may not eat as much but that can be too difficult to calculate so I was trying to make it simple but this can work just fine.

Wow--you're fast! And good with math! Sorry again for the added trouble...please let me know if there is anything I can do on the planning/preparation end to help out.
These are all just estimates...if some people aren't coming then we can adjust it and we won't need as much food....so we will just divide it up when everyone get there. Nita there will be plenty to help out with. We are gonna divide cooking/cleaning duties so there will be tons of opportunities to help. :)
