Let's get planning!

Good idea Nita Kay. We love a bingo game at our house. We can bring little things for prizes too. Rhett's parents have a chess and checker board that can be taken out on the porch. (for you porch sitters....Ashlie) :) We will bring HB's scooter and Sammy's little bike and then I will tell Melinda and Kristina to bring their babies rides and you too April then they can play on their long driveway whilst we chit chat on the front porch. They have horse shoes, volleyball, badminton, basketball hoop and a big swing. I was thinking about getting a slip and slide for the kidos too. But there really aren't gonna be a ton of kids. Just like 5 or 6. Amy is not going to be able to come. Grandma Lohman has Spin Uno and a few kid games.
We also need to come up with a few meals so I can plan a menu and buy the groceries for the good eats.

Wednesday night - Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Macaroni Salad, Chips, Smore's
Thursday night - David (Kristina's husband) will grill Tri Tip - potato salad, veggies, bread
Friday night - Taco salad? Fruit... yumola!

B-fasts - cereal, pancakes, and waffles, breakfast burritos, toast, bagels, biscuits and gravy
Lunches - picnic lunches, sandwiches, chips, a little debbie :) Mr. Gatti's Pizza

Let me know your ideas

Happy Planning one and all. Just leave your comments below and we will go from there. It is getting exciting...only like 2 1/2 weeks away!

I will bring a few things, the only thing I'm not sure about is I mine not be able to fit too much in the car because I might have the dog with me from NC to my mom's. (She said she'd babysit, but I might just board her so I don't have to worry about it.) We have a lot of board games. We have the apple game that your dad sent a couple of years ago, a zillion types of Monopoly, Cranium (Ashlie, remember we had so much fun with that!), Disney Trivial Pursuit (it's kid friendly too!). My only request for the taco salads, Dora, is that you set a little meat aside with no beans, lol, I hate beans! The menu sounds fine, we aren't too picky aside from the no beans thing. lol. And I would love to look at pictures too! Dora, if you think about it, grab that picture of you and Mark from several years ago...I think one of you had on orange. Remember, I saw it when we visited for Thanksgiving and I can get a copy made. Noah's got lots of fun toys and if I don't have the dog with us then I can bring several of them. We can head out pretty much any day, unless I have a job interview the first part of that week. I went to a job fair for the county schools this morning and had some promising conversations with a couple of principals. Wish me luck!!! See you all soon! I'm getting very excited!!!
