Update on Mark

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that Mark has been safely in Iraq for about a week and a half. He was held up for about a week in another part of the country due to flight schedules, sand storms and some other random things. He is now at the base where he is supposed to be and getting accustomed to things. He's a little disappointed because they were told they would be in 2-man rooms with internet and as of yesterday when he called, his platoon is sharing 1 big room to make things more convenient for the CO. He is now the only corpsman in his platoon and their job is to be the CO's entourage. They basically travel in his convoy and protect him. They've already been out on some trips and should stay pretty busy. He's called every couple of days. We have 2 weeks down, so that makes about 26 left to go...lol, but who's counting...Noah and I are doing well. Noah is having a little trouble; he's walking around the house calling for "Dada" and looking in the spots Mark would always hide in when they would play hide & seek. I've been really proud of them though...Please keep Mark and all the other guys in your thoughts and prayers. These are a couple of pictures from the night Mark left.
