Scott and Laura's Family

This blog is great! We are so excited to be a part of it! Hope you had a Happy Birthday, Amy, we love you! And Happy Birthday to Noah! I like the Terrific Two Stage!

We are all doing well in Oregon. We are feeling a bit soggy, though! We have lots of rain and mud, and it's been snowing all week. Scott is really missing Texas. He is languishing for hot, humid weather. He's been telling me he's not sure how much longer he'll survive Oregon's moist climate.

We have just 8 more weeks to go before baby Julianna makes her arrival. Laura is excited to be going to a water birth center attended by midwives. After 4 hospital births, she is delighted to be going to a place where a natural, gentle birth is embraced. And after nearly having the last two babies in the hospital's jacuzzi tub (a big NO-NO), she is looking forward to the option of getting to STAY in the tub to have this baby! Please keep all of us in your prayers as we get closer to the birth.

We look forward to hearing all about the reunion, even if none of us can make it. I hope it is the best yet!

Latest interesting day to day happenings in our family:

Courtney (now 4 1/2) cuts all her bangs off, and then the night before Easter takes a bad fall off the rocking chair and gives herself a black eye. So much for Easter pictures!

Angel (now 2 ) Is talking in complete sentences and eagerly pointing out all the colors and shapes around her. She is getting very good at carrying a stool to wherever she wants to get into something. Nothing on the kitchen counter is safe anymore! Just today while Christopher wasn't looking, she stole all his chips.

Christopher (9) is Surviving in the household of mostly girls, but he admits to still hoping that the ultrasound technician made a mistake. You can still hear him say,"It COULD be a boy, you know." His latest passion is his new bike, and playing all of his Dad's computer games.

Dorathy (6) Is determined to be the youngest chef ever. She is particularly in love with Italian food. We made Lasagna this week, and she went to the trouble of making miniature Italian flags to put in each person's food on their plate. She has declared she wishes to serve a mission in Italy, just so she can try out all their food. *wink* She is constantly begging to make things in the kitchen (usually cookies) and wants to try out her own personally engineered recipes, which scares her mother.

Look at all your blonde babies. We will see if the next one will look like you Laura. :)

I think I would be in complete shock if I got a brown haired or brown eyed child! It will be fun to see, however!
